The results of a backyard ultra are measured in loops: one of 6.706 km every hour, on the hour, until only one runner is left standing. Here you’ll find them for Spanish races, edition by edition and with full standings (91 editions of 41 races in the archive), taken from each race’s official timing.
To compare marks across races, see the world ranking and the Spanish one; for the championship between countries, theWorld Team Championship; and to find out how each one was won, the race reports, which tell the race loop by loop.

Frequently asked questions
Where can I find the results of a Spanish backyard ultra?
On each race’s page, in the editions section: every edition held has its full standings, with each runner’s loops, and its own page with a search box. If you don’t know the race’s exact name, the backyard directory lists them from A to Z and lets you search by name or town.
How do you read backyard ultra standings?
By loops completed, not by time. Runners set off every hour, on the hour, on a 6.71 km loop, and anyone who doesn’t finish the loop in time or doesn’t start the next one is out; the last one standing wins. Each runner’s mark is their loops, the ‘yards’: 24 loops make 100 miles (160.9 km). Two runners with the same loops finished level, so they share a position.
Where do the standings come from?
From each race’s official timing or from the organisers themselves, and when the source is public, the table links to it. Ultrarunning databases are useful for checking the podium, but they only record marks above their ultra threshold, so standings taken from them leave out a good share of the runners.
Where are the results of the backyard World Team Championship?
In the World Championship section: the standings by country, with each team’s combined loops and the detail of its runners. The best individual marks in the world are in the world ranking.
