Privacy policy
Last updated: July 2026
At unavueltamas.es we take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains what data we collect.
1. Data controller
The controller of the data is the owner of this website. You can get in touch at any time at contacto@unavueltamas.es with any question related to the processing of your personal data.
2. Data we process and why
We only process the data you provide voluntarily through the website:
- Personalised training form: name, email address and, optionally, phone/WhatsApp, sporting goal, target race and message. Purpose: to deal with your request and put you in touch with the training service.
- WhatsApp contact: if you message us with the WhatsApp button, your number and whatever you tell us in the conversation. Purpose: to reply to you. The conversation is handled by WhatsApp (Meta), under its own terms.
- Newsletter subscription: email address. Purpose: to send you regular communications with content, the calendar and news from the site.
- Tools (for example, the pace calculator): the email address you provide to receive the full report. Purpose: to send you the result you requested and, if you consent, regular communications.
- La porra (the loop prediction game, available in Spanish only): when a porra is created, the name of the person running, the challenge and its dates; when you make a prediction, the name you type, your number and, if you wish, your Instagram username. Alongside them we store a random identifier generated in your browser (so that you can change your number from the same phone) and the IP address of the submission (to prevent abuse). Purpose: to make the porra work. Whatever is published in a porra can be seen by anyone who has its link – including your Instagram username, if you add it, which appears next to your name and in the result image – so use a name or a nickname you are comfortable with. Whoever creates the porra can delete predictions; if you want us to remove a whole porra or any of your data, write to us at contacto@unavueltamas.es.
- Browsing data: we use a web analytics tool that does not use cookies or identify users individually (see the cookie policy).
In order to record the origin of each request, alongside the form data we may log technical information associated with the submission (date, page of origin and campaign parameters in the URL, such as UTM identifiers).
3. Legal basis
The legal basis for processing is your consent, which you give by ticking the corresponding box and submitting the form. You can withdraw this consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before its withdrawal. In the porra, the basis is the provision of the service you request when you create one or submit your number.
4. Retention period
We will keep your data while there is a relationship of mutual interest, until you request its deletion or unsubscribe from the newsletter, and for the periods required by law. Once they are no longer needed, they will be deleted with the appropriate security measures.
5. Recipients and processors
We do not share your data with third parties unless legally required to. To provide the service we may rely on technology providers (for example, hosting, email delivery or newsletter management services) that act as processors under our instructions and with the appropriate contractual safeguards.
6. Your rights
You can exercise the following rights at any time:
- Access to your personal data.
- Rectification of inaccurate data.
- Erasure of data when it is no longer necessary.
- Restriction of or objection to processing.
- Data portability.
- Withdrawal of the consent given.
To exercise them, write to contacto@unavueltamas.es stating the right you wish to exercise.
7. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration. Access to the site and form submissions take place over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in legislation or on the site. We recommend that you review it regularly; the date of the last update appears at the top.
